I’m currently reminiscing about warmer summer temperatures, golden skies & wedding days exactly like this one.
Robin + Steve are the type of people you meet & you just feel like you’ve always known them. Not to mention, they’re just pretty cool people to hang with.
This particular day was very warm, sticky, muggy. A true nova scotia summer day. A little bit of rain, a little bit of wind, overcast skies & a beautiful golden sunset to top it all off. My favourite kind of day.
This venue, The Thinker’s Lodge is such a special part of history. If you ever have the chance to visit, I highly recommend. It is such a beautiful spot. And if you stumbled upon these wedding photos and you’re on the fence about selecting it as your venue – don’t even hesitate. It is jam packed with character, amazing light, history, ocean views from every corner & a space that is so perfect for celebrating any wedding day.
These two chose so many elements that highlighted an east coast wedding. It was a perfect mix of nova scotia traditions & elements that truly represented them as a couple. Strawberry shortcake, lobster boil, good music & an atmosphere that was so warm, so inviting. Everyone had a spectacular time. You can see it, feel it, in these images. This is what a wedding day should always be.
A big thanks going out to Giselle Davis for second shooting this one with me!
P.S. This is a long one.. I just had too many favourites.
