I’m honestly not even sure where to start with this post! These days, I’ve been wanting to travel so looking back at these once more this month, it’s inspired me to start planning our next getaway!
California is…simply amazing. When my husband suggested this location for our honeymoon, it honestly really wasn’t a location I had on my bucket list. But after researching a bit more, I fell in love with the entire vibe of taking a road trip along the west coast. & I am SO happy that we did. The views, the landscapes, the sunsets. It’s a photographer’s paradise. I came home with 12,000+ photos & videos. Yep, you read that right. Needless to say, it was tough to narrow these down to just a handful of my favourites. I’m not sure how this is already one year ago this month, but all the more reason to plan our next adventure!
We started off in San Francisco for a few days & then travelled down the coast checking out locations along the way. We ate a ton of tacos, spent days checking out all of the beautiful beaches, found avocados for 5 for $1 (I might move there just for the avocados), had the best smoothie bowls on the planet, visited Alcatraz, walked through the redwoods, had a sunrise picnic, saw purple sand, had the BEST huevos rancheros & SO much more. I could have easily spent so much more time exploring this place and already can’t wait to go back to visit more of this beautiful state.
